To be the beholder and with-holder of information

I encounter a couple of these people.

They like to tell you they have
a bit of info,
a bit of gossip.
Some juice.

They tell you a little bit and then when they see your interest has peaked, they pull the cards really close to their chest and with-hold.

It's a power play.

They are assholes.

Usually the people who do with-hold and behold have little going on in their lives and live vicariously through your life.

I told the latest beholder that next time, I don't want to hear his shit. Next time- leave me out of it.
